Coordination Meeting Held on the Certification of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Documents

On December 30, 2024, a coordination meeting was held under the chairmanship of Mawlavi Mohammad Hanan Haqqani, Head of Legal, Legislative, and Judicial Affairs of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, with the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Justice, and the Supreme Court, regarding a proposal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to certify 30 types of documents outside its procedure.
During the meeting, Mawlavi Mohammad Hanan Haqqani stated that, in accordance with the decree of Esteemed Amirul Momineen Hafidzahullahu Ta'ala, Emirati institutions are obliged to provide facilities for the public. He further emphasized that the proposed documents are among the essential needs of the country's citizens and should be certified.
Additionally, representatives from the participating institutions provided information on the importance of document certification and on how to proceed with their procedure. They emphasized the need for these documents to be certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to address public requirements effectively.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the committee approved the proposal to certify the 30 types of documents outside the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ existing procedure. It was decided that the certification process for these documents would be included through the relevant institutions and submitted to Esteemed Amirul Momineen Hafidzahullahu Ta'ala for final confirmation.
The meeting began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and ended with a prayer for goodwill.
