The Director General of Administrative Affairs: Youths are Being Trained with Islamic Values after the Re-establishment of the Islamic Emirate

On December 22, 2024, Sheikh-Al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, the Director General of Administrative Affairs, stated during the graduation ceremony of Kabul’s Jihadi Madrasa graduates that over the past two decades, foreign powers had influenced the country's educational institutions to serve their own interests. They attempted to impose their ideologies, culture, and deviant beliefs on Afghans. However, with the re-establishment of the Islamic Emirate, foreign interference has been eliminated, and the educational and academic institutions have become independent. Today, youths are being trained with an Islamic mindset and spirit.

This ceremony, which was held in the Loya Jirga (Grand Assembly) conference hall, was attended by dignitaries, including the Director General of Administrative Affairs; the Acting Ministers of Higher Education, Propagation of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, and Complaints Hearing; the Director General of the Afghan Red Crescent Society; the Governor of Kabul; the Head of Kabul’s Ulema Council; the Director General of Jihadi Madrasas; and several other officials, religious scholars, and local residents.

In his address, Sheikh-Al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar emphasized that, like other systems around the world, the Islamic Emirate has its own priorities and progresses accordingly. According to him, the Islamic Emirate faced numerous challenges during its early days of re-establishment in sectors such as security, economy, health, and education. However, with praise to Allah, significant progress and achievements have been made in these areas within a short period, guided by their priorities. He also noted that religious centers, which had been neglected for many years due to foreign invasions and their supporters, are now receiving renewed attention. The invaders had attempted to distance citizens from religion, ethics, and spiritual values, but with foreign influence eliminated, the Islamic Emirate now exercises full independence in its decisions.

He further highlighted the ongoing efforts to improve health facilities, noting that while significant progress has been made compared to fifty years ago when such facilities were almost non-existent. However, current resources are still insufficient to fully address the growing health challenges. He emphasized that as diseases and health crises increase, greater efforts must be made to ensure their effective treatment and prevention.

Regarding drug addiction, which had affected 5.5 million individuals who were deprived of basic human rights, burdened their families and society, and were often considered incurable, the Islamic Emirate has, through strong determination, systematically rehabilitated them. It has provided healthcare, employment, and education, successfully reintegrating them into their families and society. This achievement reflects the compassionate leadership of a free and Islamic system.

Ministers of Higher Education, Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, Complaints Hearing, the Director General of the Red Crescent, and other officials also addressed the gathering. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the graduates were honored with the traditional turban.

The ceremony, which began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
