The Cultural and Social Affairs Director Meets Tribal Influentials and Youths of the Mahipar Area

On December 18, 2024, the Cultural and Social Affairs Director of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, Mawlavi Mohammad Rabbani Naseeh, met with tribal influentials, religious scholars, and youths from the Mahipar area of Sarobi District to discuss their issues.

The meeting took place in the conference hall of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs. During the meeting, the Deputy Director of Cultural and Social Affairs, Noor Mohammad Haidari, informed the participants that, in addition to managing Emirati Affairs, one of the responsibilities of the General Directorate is to engage with tribal elders, religious scholars, youths, traders, and various sections of society to listen to their concerns.

Representatives from the Mahipar area shared their concerns, stating that during the occupation period, many residents were forced to migrate, leaving their villages and homes in ruins. They explained that they lack the financial means to rebuild their homes and also lack basic infrastructure, including schools, madrassas, clinics, and roads. They requested cooperation from the Islamic Emirate to address these issues.

The representatives also called for the construction of dams, check dams, retaining walls, water reservoirs, and streams to support agriculture. They emphasized that addressing these issues would resolve many challenges faced by the local population, help the people become economically self-sufficient, and create job opportunities for the youth.

The Cultural and Social Affairs Director listened attentively to the representatives and assured them that their concerns would be shared with the relevant authorities.

The meeting, which began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
