On December 11, 2024, a joint meeting was held to discuss and consult on export services. The meeting, led by Mawlavi Engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid, Director of Investment Facilitation of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, included representatives from the Investment Facilitation Directorate, Ministries of Industry and Commerce, Finance, Labor and Social Affairs, Economy, Telecommunications and Information Technology, Da Afghanistan Bank, and the National Statistics and Information Authority.

The meeting, held in the conference hall of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Following this, Mohammad Haroon Hafiz, a representative of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, presented an overview of the concept of "export services."

The participants held detailed discussions on various areas of export services, including transportation and logistics, tourism and hotel management, technology and information, education, insurance, consultancy, cultural and artistic activities, scientific and research, sports and entertainment, marketing, intellectual property, human resources, environmental services, and legal and judicial services.

It was decided to share relevant information with Emirati offices and the private sector, followed by further discussions to finalize the plan.

The meeting concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
