On December 10, 2024, Mawlavi Engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid, Director of Investment Facilitation of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, visited the Asad Wesal Dairy Production Company located in Kabul's Industrial Parks as part of his efforts to support the private sector.

During the visit, Abdul Basir Haqmal, the company’s technical official, provided an overview of its production and packaging processes for dairy products. He highlighted that over three million dollars have been invested in this sector, creating employment opportunities for 70 individuals.

Haqmal also pointed out the country's milk shortage as a significant challenge and urged cooperation in reducing tariffs on powdered milk imports, allocating land for investors, and addressing electricity issues.

In response, Engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid, emphasized that supporting the private sector and industrialists is a top priority for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. He assured that substantial efforts are underway to resolve electricity problems, which are expected to be addressed comprehensively.

The Director of Investment Facilitation of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs also reiterated his readiness to collaborate with all industrialists and investors to provide necessary facilities.
