On November 6, 2024, the National Procurement Directorate (NPD) of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs held the bid-opening meeting for the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing’s project to construct the surrounding wall and main gate of the Maidan Wardak Transport Terminal.

The meeting took place in the NPD's conference hall with the participation of the bid-opening panel and representatives from several bidding companies.

Mawlavi Mahmadullah Mohammadi, the Technical Deputy of NPD, welcomed the company representatives. He expressed his pleasure in attending an event focused on the bid-opening of a significant national project.

Mr. Mohammadi urged the representatives that the contracted company’s goal should be to seek Allah’s blessing, serve the nation, and earn a lawful livelihood. He emphasized that with this intention, Allah Almighty would bless the project.

The meeting concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
