Director General of Administrative Affairs: Officials of the Islamic Emirate have a strong motivation to ensure transparency
On September 12, 2024, Sheikh-Al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, the Director General of Administrative Affairs, participated in the graduation ceremony of 38 officials, heads of financial and administrative departments of provincial municipalities from the training program focused on management fundamentals and short-term planning at the Civil Service Institute.
The ceremony, held in the conference hall of the Administrative Reforms and Civil Service Institute, commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Then, Sheikh-Al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar in his speech stressed the importance of ensuring transparency in the collection of municipal revenues.
The Director General of Administrative Affairs highlighted that without a commitment to capacity development and the motivation to learn, an employee cannot ensure transparency.
Sheikh-Al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, drawing upon the golden era of the caliphs, stated that the best role models for every Muslim are the caliphs, who exemplified clear and transparent governance.
He further emphasized that the officials currently serving within the Islamic system are highly motivated to uphold transparency, and it is encouraging that both the desire and the means to achieve this transparency are present.
In this ceremony, Mawlavi Mohammad Ishaq Akhundzada, the Director General of Administrative Affairs, urged the participants to implement the knowledge and skills gained from the training course in their respective departments to promote and ensure transparency.
It is worth noting that the Civil Service Institute of the Administrative Reforms and Civil Service Authority, as part of its ongoing training initiatives, launched a program for 245 civil service employees, including 38 officials responsible for municipal revenues. Today, these participants were awarded certificates upon completing the program.
The ceremony ended with a prayer for goodwill.
