The Director General for Coordination of Municipal Affairs met with Ulemas, Wakil-e-Gozars, and Occupational Union of Kandahar City

Mawlavi Mohammad Ishaq Akhundzada, the Director General for Coordination of Municipal Affairs, held a meeting with Ulemas, Wakil-e-Gozars (locally elected representatives), and the Occupational Union of Kandahar City at the municipality's compound to address their concerns.

In this meeting, Mawlavi Mohammad Ishaq Akhundzada emphasized the importance of hearing and obedience within the Islamic Emirate. He mentioned that, following the guidance of the leadership of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, they will be traveling to various provinces to closely monitor the activities of municipalities.


The representatives from Kandahar expressed their concerns, particularly urging the municipality to focus on enhancing the city's beauty.
In response, Mr. Akhundzada assured them that funds collected from city cleaning efforts would be reinvested into infrastructure projects, such as roads and bridges, and public services. He also called for cooperation from Ulema, wakil-e-gozars, and the occupational union in the municipality’s revenue collection efforts.

The meeting began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
