The Director of Investment Facilitation visited the Omaid Bahar juice and milk production factory.

On August 31, 2024, Engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid, Director of Investment Facilitation of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, visited the Omaid Bahar juice and milk production factory with some of his colleagues to evaluate its operations.
The Director of Investment Facilitation while expressing gratitude for the factory's activities and substantial investment in milk and juice production, stated that the Directorate of Investment Facilitation is always ready to support the investors and is committed to helping resolve their issues in other departments as well.
Haji Abdurrahman, in charge of the factory, emphasized the importance of Afghan people using domestic products to compete with imported ones. He listed the challenges faced by investors and requested quick coordination with relevant institutions to address their issues and support the use of domestic products. He also mentioned that the insufficient supply of electricity and the lack of land distribution for investors are among the major issues.
In the end, Mr. Khalid mentioned ongoing efforts to solve the energy problem, including importing and producing electricity domestically. He also highlighted the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan's increased support for investors and its effective steps to facilitate business activities.
