Sharia rules are taken into consideration in the appointment of officials: The Director General of Administrative Affairs

On August 19, 2024, the Director General of Administrative Affairs, Sheikh-Al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, attended the introduction meeting of the new CEO of Ariana Afghan Airlines, Qari Abdul Wali Siddiqui.
During this meeting, the Director General of Administrative Affairs stated that in the Islamic Sharia, those who are entrusted with responsibility have specific principles and standards set for them, and the Islamic Emirate follows these standards when making appointments.
He also mentioned that appointments made by the leadership are based on individuals' activities and abilities, and emphasized that a decision to remove someone from a position is based on wisdom rather than being a punishment.
In his remarks, the new CEO, Qari Abdul Wali Siddiqui, emphasized the importance of fulfilling responsibilities, staying committed to commitments, and avoiding personal activities during official hours for those entrusted with responsibility.
Qari Abdul Wali Siddiqui has previously held positions in various commissions and leadership offices during the previous rule of the Islamic Emirate and Jihad era. Since the re-establishment of the Islamic Emirate, he has taken on roles as the Head of the Office of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, the Director of National Procurement, and the Financial and Administrative Deputy Director General. Recently, by the order of the esteemed Amirul Momineen Hafidzahullahu Ta'ala, he has been appointed as the new Head of Ariana Afghan Airlines.

The introductory meeting, which commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
