Third Cabinet meeting; it was decided to take decisive measures regarding the stability of Amu River’s coastline
On August 5, 2024, the third meeting of the Cabinet of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was held under the chairmanship of Al-Haj Mullah Muhammad Hasan Akhund, the Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, where several important matters were discussed and decisions were made.
The Cabinet meeting commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, then according to the agenda, the Ministry of Water and Energy was tasked with taking decisive measures to ensure the stability of the Amu River’s coastline and prevent coastal damage.
During this Cabinet meeting, the non-tax revenue report of the first quarter of the Ministry of Finance was confirmed, with some of the agencies being encouraged and others recommended to follow the ministry’s guidelines by utilizing the available opportunities in this area.
Additionally, a committee was also appointed to conduct a thorough investigation on the property restitution of the Afghan Textile Company and present its final report to the next Cabinet meeting.
The meeting concluded with a prayer for the well-being of the community.
