The Cultural and Social Affairs Director met with religious scholars from four districts of Kabul City
On August 5, 2024, the Director of Cultural and Social Affairs, Mawlavi Mohammad Rabbani Naseeh, held a meeting with religious scholars from the First, Second, Eighth, and Ninth Districts of Kabul City at the conference hall of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs.
The meeting began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, and after the introductory speech by the Director of Cultural and Social Affairs, the scholars from the mentioned districts shared their problems.
During the meeting, the scholars raised several issues including the low salaries of mosque imams, the lack of water in mosques, the increase in garbage, the absence of female madrassas, and the need to address problems in mosques. They also highlighted the absence of a quota for mosque imams in Kabul to serve as guide teachers in the Hajj process.
Mawlavi Mohammad Rabbani Naseeh, after listening to the issues of the scholars, assured them that he would communicate their concerns to the relevant authorities. He also pledged to address the salary issues promptly.
The meeting concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
