A coordination meeting was convened to discuss the establishment of a standardized export processing zone.

On July 30, 2024, Engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid, Director of Investment Facilitation at the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, led a meeting to determine the price of the former building and the transfer of machinery and vehicles of the Kabul Public Works Zone for the purpose of setting up a standardized export processing zone.

The meeting took place at the office of the Investment Facilitation Director and was attended by representatives from the Ministries of Finance, Public Works, Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, Commerce and Industry, as well as Urban Development and Land. During the meeting, Engineer Khalid emphasized the importance of establishing a standardized export processing zone.

Following discussions on pricing the building, machinery, and vehicles of the public work zone, it was decided that a joint technical team from the relevant agencies would visit the area and present their recommendations for the pricing of the building and machinery, which will then be submitted to the esteemed Amirul Momineen Hafidzahullahu Ta'ala for approval.

The meeting, which commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for the well-being of the community.
