The Cultural and Social Affairs Director Meets Tribal Elders of Kunar

On July 29, 2024, Mawlavi Mohammad Rabbani Naseeh, the Cultural and Social Affairs Director of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, met with tribal elders and influential of Kunar Province to discuss their concerns.

The meeting took place at the conference hall of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, where Noor Muhammad Haidari, the Deputy Director of Cultural and Social Affairs welcomed the participants and said that the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs is the office of Esteemed Amirul Momineen Hafidzahullahu Ta'ala, and through this, the issues and suggestions of the nation and Emirate agencies are presented to the leadership position to address them.
During the meeting, the tribal elders of Kunar highlighted the lack of essential facilities such as clinics, schools, and teachers in their province. They also requested the construction of dams on the Kunar River, and the establishment of cement, carpentry, and paper production factories, along with improved road infrastructure. Furthermore, they expressed concerns about the smuggling of medicinal plants and forest woods, as well as the exploitation of mines by irresponsible people.
Acknowledging the challenges faced by the people of Kunar Province, the Cultural and Social Affairs Director stated that Afghanistan has just come out of war and everything is ruined. But, according to him, the Islamic Emirate fully understands the problems of the people and with time, it will solve the issues of dams, schools, roads, and clinics and would also find solutions to other needs of the people.
Additionally, he assured the representatives that their concerns would be conveyed to the relevant authorities of the Islamic Emirate for resolution.
The meeting, which commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for the well-being of the community.
