On July 21, 2024, based on the order of the Esteemed Amirul Momineen Hafidzahullahu Ta'ala, a coordination meeting on non-tax revenues was held by the Directorate of National Economy and Infrastructure with the deputies of 25 budgetary units under the leadership of Sheikh-Al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, the Director General of Administrative Affairs.

This meeting was conducted in the conference hall of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, and it involved the participation of the Deputy Director General for Coordination of Emirate Affairs, Mawlavi Saifuddin Taieb, as well as the National Economy Director and several administrative and financial deputies of independent administrations.

During the meeting, the Director General of Administrative Affairs emphasized that it is important for the rulers to be aware of the condition of the people based on Islamic Sharia values and Islamic Emirate also strives to fulfill the needs of the people that are dependent on the system.
He further added that the Islamic Emirate is committed to addressing the country's issues and challenges using internal resources and facilities. The goal of the Islamic Emirate is for Afghanistan to become self-reliant, and efforts are ongoing to achieve this objective.
Sheikh-Al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar highlighted that previous conflicts have led to an increase in widows, orphans, and refugees in Afghanistan, contributing to the country's economic challenges. However, he emphasized the Islamic Emirate's dedication to finding solutions to these issues.

In this meeting, the Finance Ministry officials presented information about the opportunities and sources of revenue and shared their plans and suggestions with the officials and representatives of the administrations in order to boost revenue.

In conclusion, the Deputy Director General for Coordination of Emirate Affairs, Mawlavi Saifuddin Taieb, stated that the Islamic Emirate is working towards enhancing governance to address people's issues and to achieve prosperity and well-being in all sectors, similar to other advanced countries around the world.

He also mentioned that in the past, Afghanistan's budget relied on foreign aid. Now, internal revenues are being used, and the Islamic Emirate is working to transform Afghanistan from an importing country into an exporting and industrial country.

The meeting, which began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
