The Cultural and Social Affairs Director meets the tribal people of Nuristan

On July 11, 2024, The Cultural and Social Affairs Director of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, Mawlavi Mohammad Naseeh Rabbani, met with representatives from Vant Waygal District, Arnas, Zangeegal, Jamamash, and Hamshoz valleys of Nuristan Province to discuss the establishment of a new district in the province.
During the meeting at the conference hall of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, the representatives shared the problems and concerns of their respective valleys with the director of Cultural and Social Affairs. They emphasized the need for the new district, called Waigal, to be established in a location that could address the challenges faced by the various tribes and communities.
The director assured the representatives that the Islamic Emirate would establish the new district in a place that takes into account the needs of all the people and tribes involved. He also mentioned that the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs would bring this matter to the attention of the Ministry of Interior Affairs.

The meeting commenced with a recitation of the Holy Quran and concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
