Officials of the Cultural and Social Affairs Directorate Meet representatives of the Bread Bakers Union of Kabul Province.

 

On July 3, 2024, officials of the Cultural and Social Affairs Directorate of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs met with representatives of the Bread Bakers Union of Kabul Province to discuss their concerns and suggestions.

This meeting was chaired by Mufti Shamsurrahman Oryakhil, the Director of Economy and Infrastructure. At the beginning of the meeting, Engineer Noor Muhammad Haidari, the Deputy Director of Cultural and Social Affairs, welcomed the participants and stated that the Esteemed Amirul Momineen Hafidzahullahu Ta'ala had instructed all Emirate agencies to open their doors to the people and assist them in addressing their issues. As a result, the Directorate of Cultural and Social Affairs has conducted approximately a hundred meetings with different segments of society to help resolve their problems.

In the meeting, the Bread Bakers Union of Kabul Province expressed satisfaction with the system's achievements and security. They also shared their concerns about obtaining licenses, importing good quality wheat, extending health cards, reducing shop spaces, and giving authority to the union in specific areas. They sought the officials' assistance in resolving these issues.

During the meeting, the Director of National Economy and Infrastructure commended the union's efforts and recognized the significance of Bread bakers in society. He stated that they have a responsibility to provide healthy bread that meets the demands of the people by offering quality and equally weighted bread to them.

Meanwhile, he assured the union representatives that their problems would be brought to the attention of the relevant officials for resolution.

The meeting began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
