The Cultural and Social Affairs Director meets representatives of medical supplies and pharmaceutical unions

On June 5, 2024, Mawlavi Mohammad Rabbani Naseeh, the Cultural and Social Affairs Director of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, met with representatives of medical supplies and pharmaceutical unions to discuss their issues.
The meeting took place at the conference hall of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, where the Deputy Director of Cultural and Social Affairs, Noor Muhammad Haidari, welcomed the representatives of medical supplies and pharmaceutical unions and mentioned that the directorate had held numerous meetings with various sections of society last year to address their concerns and suggestions. The directorate also plans to continue addressing the concerns and problems of the citizens this year.
In the meeting, representatives from medical supplies and pharmaceutical unions spoke in turn according to the agenda and shared a series of issues related to pharmaceutical product taxes in customs, price lists, import ports, and food and drug procedures. They also expressed that foreign institutions should use domestic products.
The Cultural and Social Affairs Director assured the representatives that the Islamic Emirate aims to be self-sufficient in the production of medicine. He mentioned that in this regard, the Esteemed Amirul Momimeen Hafidzahullahu Ta'ala has issued a decree for the citizens to use domestically produced products.
Additionally, he promised the representatives that he would share their issues and suggestions with the higher authorities and that the doors of the Islamic Emirate are open to them and we are ready to listen to all kinds of problems.
The meeting began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
