A coordination meeting was held regarding the investment in the sector of loading and unloading of coal

On May 25, 2024, a coordination meeting was held between the Investment Facilitation Directorate of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation, the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, and Balkh Mayar Building Affairs and Road Construction Company regarding the investment in the sector of loading and unloading of coal in Balkh.
The meeting was held at the conference hall of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, where the Deputy of Public-Private Partnership of the Investment Facilitation Directorate, Mufti Abdul Wahid Usmani, expressed their commitment to support private sector investments in Afghanistan based on the commandments and guidance of the leadership of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
He emphasized the importance of conducting coal loading and unloading activities in Balkh in a standard and principled manner, taking into account the input from relevant technical teams.
In the meeting, the participants exchanged technical views on the topic and stressed the significance of cooperation among relevant agencies in this sector.
In the end, the Transport and Civil Aviation Authority shared its proposals with the company for the practical initiation of the project and it was decided that the Balkh Mayar Building Affairs and Road Construction Company should officially share its agreement with the Directorate of Investment Facilitation of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs.
The meeting commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
