The Investment Facilitation Director meets the officials of the factories manufacturing medical supplies
On May 25, 2024, Engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid, the Investment Facilitation Director of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, held a meeting with officials from medical supplies and equipment manufacturing factories in Kabul, Kandahar, Nangarhar, and Herat zones.
The meeting took place at the conference hall of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, where the factory officials presented information about their production and highlighted the issues they were facing in their field.
During the meeting, the factory representatives expressed their concern about the impact of low-quality imported medical products and equipment on domestic production in Afghanistan's markets, despite the presence of high-quality domestically produced goods.
In response to this, Engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid assured the officials that the Islamic Emirate plans to promptly install quality control scanners at the country's customs to prevent the import of substandard goods.
He also promised to convey the concerns and requests of the factories to the relevant authorities and ensure that their issues are addressed at the leadership level of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
The meeting started with reciting the verses of the Holy Quran and concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
