Ghazni Municipality conducted the accountability meeting of the past financial year

The Ghazni Municipality, under the General Directorate for Coordination of Municipal Affairs, recently held an accountability meeting to provide the citizens with an overview of the past financial year's activities, achievements, collected revenue, and budget spent.
The meeting was attended by the Governor of Ghazni, Al-haj Muhammad Ameen Omari, the Mayor of Ghazni, Muhammad Nabi Hamza, and several officials of the provincial administration, religious scholars, county councilors, trade union members, and common people.
During the meeting, Mayor Hamza emphasized the importance of accountability to the people as a key principle of good governance and reaffirmed his commitment to this principle.
He also provided detailed information about the revenue collected during the past financial year, and how it was spent on the construction of roads and greening of the city in the province.
Additionally, he shared that the Ghazni Municipality had completed 30 construction projects in the last year.
The meeting commenced with the recitation of the verses of the Holy Quran and concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
