A coordination meeting was held regarding the issues of the 888 acres of land in the city of Kabul.
On April 22, 2024, a coordination meeting was held to address issues related to 888 acres of land in the Alokhel area of Kabul. The meeting was organized by the Directorate of Legal, Legislative and Judicial Affairs of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs and was attended by representatives of the Kabul Municipality, Afghanistan Cricket Board, and the influential of Alokhel area.
During the meeting, Mawlavi Abdul Baqi Mansour, Director of Legal Affairs, presented information about the applications submitted by the representatives of the people of the Alokhel area for the acquisition of several pieces of land, property rights, or non-property of the people in Alokhel area.
After listening to the views of the representative of Kabul Municipality and representatives of the Alokhel area, Mawlavi Mansour stressed that the current Islamic system is for the people and that the goal is to ensure that no one's rights are violated.
The decision was made during the meeting that the Directorate of Legal Affairs of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs will obtain final information from the courts and the General Directorate of Emirate Cases about the acquisition, property rights, or non-property of the people in the area. The report will be shared with the Prime Minister's Office.
The meeting started with reciting the verses of the Holy Quran and ended with a prayer for goodwill.
