Reports and findings on the surface water management project of Kabul City were finalized
On April 16, 2024, a meeting was held in the compound of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs to discuss and review the report and findings of the appointed delegation on the surface water management project of Kabul City.
The meeting was chaired by the Legal, Legislative and Judicial Affairs Directorate and attended by representatives from various agencies such as the Ministries of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, Energy and Water, National Environmental Protection Agency, Directorate of Geodesy, and Kabul Municipality.
During the meeting, the representatives of the agencies shared their opinions on various aspects of the project, such as environmental protection, economic considerations, hydrological calculations, work implementation planning, human resources estimation, and objective examination of the comparative areas of the Kabul surface water management project.
After a comprehensive analysis and review of the joint delegation of the above-mentioned agencies, the reports and findings of the Kabul surface water management project were finalized. These reports and findings will now be forwarded to the higher authorities of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan for a final decision.
The meeting started with the recitation of the passages of the Holy Quran and ended with a prayer for goodwill.
