A coordination meeting was held between the officials of the National Procurement Directorate (NPD)

On April 16, 2024, a coordination and encouragement meeting was held between the officials and employees of the National Procurement Directorate (NPD) of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, where they also discussed the expedition of upcoming activities.
The meeting took place in the conference hall of NPD and commenced with the recitation of the passages of the Holy Quran.
During the meeting, Qari Abdul Wali Siddiqui, Director of NPD, highlighted the achievements of the directorate in the field of procurement last year. He mentioned that many procurement projects of different Emirate Ministries and Agencies have been submitted to tenders, resulting in savings of nearly 5 billion Afghanis.
Furthermore, Mr. Siddiqui emphasized that this directorate is the nation's house, and all officials should fulfill their responsibilities with sincerity and honesty, and avoid unnecessary holidays.
Meanwhile, Mawlavi Mahammadullah Mohammadi, the Technical Deputy of the NPD, encouraged officials to serve Bayt al-mal well and perform their responsibilities accordingly. He added that doing so would be a cause for Allah's pleasure.
The meeting concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
