The Lashkargah Municipality of Helmand has implemented 17 projects worth 325 Million AFN during the past Solar year

On March 27, 2024, the officials of Lashkargah Municipality of the General Directorate for Coordination of Municipal Affairs held an accountability program in Lashkargah City of Helmand with the participation of the Mayor of Lashkargah, Mawlavi Abdullah Rohani, provincial officials, county representatives, and ethnic elders, aim to share information with the people and media about some of the projects carried out in the province during the past Solar year.

During the program, Mawlavi Abdullah Rohani, the Mayor of Lashkargah, Helmand, shared information about the activities of the municipality in the past year. He mentioned that the municipality had carried out 17 projects worth 325 million AFN in areas such as development projects, cleaning, greening, transport, and other relevant fields.
He also stated that the municipality strives to provide standard and more services in the municipality sector to the citizens of Helmand.

In the meeting, the officials of accounting and revenue management of the municipality presented information about the revenue. According to their report, the municipality estimated two hundred and thirty-five (235) million Afghani revenue last year, based on which they implemented and put into operation 17 development projects.
These projects included the asphalt of roads, vases of parks, entrance gates of the province, canals, repair of the technical vehicles of the municipality, construction and repair of intersections, solar systems, and other parts.
