The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran at the compound of the historic palace of Taj Beg, after which the Director General of Administrative Affairs and other officials delivered speeches.

Sheikh-ul-Hadith, Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, explained that trees and plants play a crucial role in land development and purify the air around us. They provide numerous benefits to people. Therefore, it is essential for both the system and the people to work together with goodwill and sincerity to support them.

He also said that Afghanistan's material and spiritual beauty has been widely affected by continuous wars, and it is now necessary to contribute fully to the country's fertility. He praised the efforts of the Buildings, Maintenance, and Preservation Directorate in this regard.

Furthermore, Mawlavi Saifuddin Taieb, Deputy Director General of Administrative Affairs, pointed out that environmental protection is not a new phenomenon.
