The Director General for Coordination of Municipal Affairs met with the head of UN-Habitat

Al-haj Abdul Qahir Feroz, the Director General for Coordination of Municipal Affairs of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs discussed a number of issues with the head of UN-Habitat, Lamba Antony, in a coordination meeting.

This meeting was held on Thursday, Mar 14th, 2024 at the conference hall of the General Directorate for Coordination of Municipal Affairs, where Abdul Qahir Feroz thanked UN-Habitat for its activities in the country and urged the officials of the said institution to implement their future projects related to the municipalities in the planning areas.

Mr. Feroz also asked the officials of the institution to extend their development projects to other municipalities and expressed his hope that the previous projects should not be affected during the implementation of the new projects.

In the meeting, the head of UN-Habitat thanked the officials of the General Directorate for Coordination of Municipal Affairs for their cooperation and promised to extend its activities to those cities where the institution has not implemented projects before.
