Islamic Emirate provides facilities for investors, says Investment Facilitation Director
Feb 26, 2024- The Investment Facilitation Director of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs in a meeting with the officials of the Bayat Power Company at the conference hall of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, welcomed the growth in the capacity of Bayat Power Company regarding the production of gas electricity, and said that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan provides facilities for investors.
During this meeting, Muhammad Shoaib Sahibzada, Technical Director of Bayat Power Company, provided information about the functions of this company and asked officials of Islamic Emirate to provide them with facilities and assistance in order to solve the problems of this company.
Additionally, he said that Bayat Power Company now serves electricity to the residents of Jawzjan, Sar-e-Pol, Faryab, and Andkhoy districts, and with the completion of the second phase of thermal electricity production from natural gas, about 100 megawatts of electricity will be added to its capacity, and in the third phase, the electricity production capacity will be reached to 200 megawatts.
In the end, Engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid, Investment Facilitation Director, asked the officials of Bayat Power Company to share their problems and suggestions in writing with the Investment Facilitation Directorate, which will be then shared with the relevant agencies and Prime Minister's Office.
This meeting, which commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
