A training program for the provincial officials of Urban Governance has commenced

Feb 25, 2023- The General Directorate of Coordination of Municipal Affairs of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs has commenced a four-day training program in a special ceremony for the mayors, heads, and administrators of different provinces and districts of the country.

The inauguration ceremony was held at the conference hall of the Civil Services Institute. Meanwhile, the ceremony started with the recitation of the Holy Quran, and was followed by the speeches of officials.

Mawlavi Muhammad Taoos Tariq, the Monitoring and Evaluation Director of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, said in this meeting that the Islamic Emirate has an opportunity to serve the people of Afghanistan and the officials should fulfill their assigned responsibilities well and sincerely.

Likewise, Mawlavi Mufti Shahzad Noor, Administrative Reforms and Civil Services Director called such programs effective and added that with this, progress and efficiency will be created in governance affairs and better services will be provided to the people.

Subsequently, Mufti Muhammad Yaqoob Sharafat, Urban Governance Director of the General Directorate of Coordination of Municipal Affairs, presented information about the seminar and added that the General Directorate of Coordination of Municipal Affairs is endeavoring to provide promising services to the people and address their problems in the sector of municipal affairs.

Mawlavi Lal Muhammad Taieb, Inspection Director of the General Directorate of Coordination of Municipal Affairs, pointed to the officials of the provincial municipalities to make good use of this learning opportunity and use the skills learned in this program in their agencies.

The ceremony concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
