A meeting between the National Economy Directorate and representatives of Kabul Municipality was held about the order of Kabul hand vendors

Feb 20th, 2023- A meeting was convened at the conference hall of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs between the National Economy Directorate of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, Kabul Municipality, and the ministries of Interior and Information and Culture regarding the urban order, hygiene, and addressing the issues of hand vendors.

Kabul Municipality's representative said in this meeting that in order to address the issues of Kabul's hand vendors, they have started their registration process and according to him, this process will be completed in the near future.
Additionally, they added that markets are planned in the four zones of the city for better management of the hand vendors whose construction affairs will commence soon.

It was decided in the meeting that laws should be implemented for the urban order and discipline so that urban order and hygiene can be retained and the hand vendors' problems can be fundamentally solved.
Meanwhile, the participants of the meeting emphasized that the General Directorate of Traffic, Kabul Municipality, and related agencies should work together to maintain the order and discipline of the urban culture.

This meeting, which started with the recitation of the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
