A meeting was held regarding the conversion of 91 family unplanned areas of Kabul City into new development areas

The National Economy Directorate of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs led a meeting about the conversion of 91 family unplanned areas of Kabul City into new development areas, with the participation of the representatives from the ministries of Urban Development and Housing, Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, and Justice, as well as the National Environmental Protection Agency and Kabul Polytechnic University.

This meeting was held at the conference hall of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs.

At the outset of this meeting, Sheikh-Ul-Hadith, Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, Director General of Administrative Affairs said that after the re-establishment of Islamic Emirate, best opportunities have been made available for investment and now more than ever before, best working environment for businessmen has been created.

During this meeting, a presentation was demonstrated to the participants of the meeting regarding the topic by the technical team and later, comprehensive discussions were held about it.

In conclusion, it was decided that the participants of the meeting should evaluate their views on the plan and design of the said project based on Islamic engineering, Afghan culture and engineering standards and present the findings to the next meeting.

It should be said that there are unplanned settlements in the 91 family area of the first district of Kabul City, which will be built and converted to a planned urban development by the instruction of H.E Prime Minister's Office.

This meeting, which commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
