The Third Session About The Surface Water Management Of Kabul City (Kabul Green Belt), Convened.

Jan 3, 2023- Based on the decision of the contract separation and filtration committee, the third session of the surface water management project of Kabul City( Green Belt) was convened under the leadership of Mawlavi Muhammad Hanan Haqqani, the Legal, Legislative, and Judicial Affairs Director in the compound of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs.

The attendees of this meeting were the representatives of the ministries of Agriculture, Irrigation and livestock, Energy and Water, as well as Kabul Municipality, and the National Environmental Protection Agency.

Initiating with the recitation of Holy Quran, Mawlavi Muhammad Hanan Haqqani, the Legal, Legislative, and Judicial Affairs Director, provided information about the implementation of the decisions of previous sessions and said, the management of surface water of Kabul (Green belt) is one of the priorities of IEA and the start of its practical work is significant.

During the meeting, the attendees of the meeting presented their perspectives in writing and orally about the mentioned topic and a comprehensive discussion took place in this regard.

In conclusion, it was decided to gather the technical opinions of the involved agencies and later on, send a delegation to inspect the area closely.
