A Meeting Was Held Regarding The Distribution Of Lands To The Companies

A meeting was held about the distribution of lands to Khan Steel, Kabul-Folad steel melting, and Habib Rezaye tomato paste producing factory in the area of Kabul Industrial Park, based on the order of Esteemed Amirul Momineen.

The attendees of this meeting were the Director of the Investment Facilitation Directorate, the representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, and the above-mentioned companies.

The meeting kicked off with the recitation of the Holy Quran at the compound of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs. Meanwhile, Engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid said at the meeting that three companies are requesting land in the Kabul Industrial Park, in order to expand their investment and we support them and other investors in all their principled demands.

Furthermore, Mr. Engineer Khalid added that acquiring national revenue is not the only way to address the country's economic problems, we should support investors and businessmen to boost Afghanistan's development.

At the same time, the officials of the mentioned companies presented their suggestions and problems for obtaining the desired land and asked the land distribution committee of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce to allocate the land according to the map presented by the companies.

Additionally, Abdul Khaliq Khasrow, the director of the land distribution of industrial parks of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, said that after the approval and implementation of the land distribution law for businessmen and investors, all the lands of industrial parks will be settled and the problems of traders will be solved in this field.

At the end of the meeting, a decision was made to make a list of all those lands that have been distributed to companies in the last ten years but the installments have not been paid, their offers should be disapproved and instead, the current investor companies should be considered.

Also, it was decided that the land distribution committee of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce should include the issues of Kabul-Folad Steel melting, and Habib Rezaye tomato paste producing factory in the agenda of the upcoming meeting.
