The Cultural and Social Affairs Director met with ethnic elders and representatives of Badghis

November 26th, 2023- The Cultural and Social Affairs Director of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs met with a number of ethnic elders and influential of Badghis Province about the solutions to their problems.

The meeting was held at the compound of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, under the leadership of Mawlavi Muhammad Ishaq Akhundzada, where the representatives of the mentioned province delivered speeches, and called the stability of the Islamic system a great blessing of Allah and assured their support.

The representatives expressed their concerns about the completion of some unfinished electricity projects in this province, especially in Sang Atish District, the lack of water, and the drying of fields and pistachio forests due to drought and its impact on livestock.

Moreover, the representatives requested the construction of roads and highways in this province and the opening of trade routes with the country of Turkmenistan, in order to create facilities and developments in the field of livestock and trade in this province and to strengthen the economy of the people.

Afterward, Mawlavi Muhammad Ishaq Akhundzada welcomed the representatives and assured them about the solution to their problems and added that he would share their problems with the relevant authorities.
