A coordination meeting about the establishment of mosques along highways was held

November 25th, 2023- A coordination meeting was held at the compound of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs under the leadership of Mawlavi Saifuddin Taieb, Deputy Director of Coordination of Emirate Affairs to implement the order of esteemed Amirul-Momineen about the construction of mosques along highways.

The attendees of this meeting were Technical Deputy of the Ministry of Public Works, Abdul Karim Fateh, Deputy Minister of Rural Rehabilitation, Madar Ali Karimi Bamyani, Deputy Minister of Hajj and Religious Affairs, Mawlavi Aziz-ur-Rahman Mansoor, General Director of Geodesy of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and livestock, Mawlavi Saeed-ur-Rahman Mazhari, and several other directors of related institutions.

At the outset of the meeting, Mawlavi Saifuddin Taieb, Deputy Director of Coordination of Emirate Affairs asked the participants of the meeting to present their reports on the progress of their work regarding the implementation of the order of Esteemed Amirul-Momineen about the establishment of mosques on highways.

Later, The participants presented their reports about the activities carried out on the topic and had a comprehensive discussion on identifying and fixing points, map design, and land transfer.

At the end of the meeting, it was decided that the Ministry of Urban Development is obliged to provide all the maps of mosques and their annexes to the Ministry of Public Works within two weeks, and in the first step, three joint teams should be appointed with the coordination of the relevant institutions to identify the points for the construction of mosques on the highways of Kabul-Torkham, Kabul-Khost, and Kandahar-Herat.
Moreover, they were also advised to carry out the transfer process of land quickly.
