The bid-opening meeting for the project of drilling two gas wells worth $17 million was held

Today, Oct 31, 2023- National Procurement Directorate conducted a bid opening meeting for the project under the title of Drilling, Completion, and Testing Two Exploitation Gas Wells in Yatimtaq Gas Field, linked to the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum in the presence of procurement committee and several domestic and foreign bidders.

Abdul Rahim, Deputy Director of National Procurement, who was present at this meeting, expressed his gratitude for the participation of domestic and foreign companies in the bid-opening meeting and assured that the bid-opening meetings will be held transparently and fairly.

The project of drilling two gas wells in Jawzjan province at the cost of more than 17 million US dollars is one of the fundamental projects of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, which the Directorate of National Procurement is responsible for the procurement process until the conclusion of the contract, and its drilling is considered an effective activity in the field of domestic gas extraction.
