A coordination meeting about the quality control of medicines was convened

 

Under the leadership of Mawlavi Muhammad Ishaq Akhundzada, a collaborative meeting was convened at the meeting hall of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs about the quality control of medicines on October 29th, gathering the representatives of the Social and Cultural Directorate, Food and Drug Administration, and the Pharmaceutical Services Union.

The meeting in this regard commenced with the passages of the holy Quran, followed by the discussions of the topic outlined on the agenda.

During the meeting, Dr. Abdul Bari Omar, director of the Food and Drug Administration, provided information about the procedure for quality control of medicines and asked the representatives of the pharmaceutical companies to carry out their activities according to the procedure.

Dr. Omar said that in the procedure, the purchase and sales, import and export, transfer form, and all other cases for medicines have been considered, and based on its implementation, the quality of medicines will significantly improve.

On the other hand, the Pharmaceutical Services Union showed their commitment that they will carry out their activities in the health sector in a good and standard way, and requested to solve some of the problems in the procedure.

At the end of the meeting, the Social and Cultural Director, Mawlavi Muhammad Ishaq Akhundzada, said that people's problems in the health sector should be addressed well and good services should be provided to them based on Islamic and national feelings.

Furthermore, Maw. Ishaq added that he will find ways to fundamentally solve the mentioned topic and will share the problems with the relevant officials to solve them.

The meeting concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
