The committee to address health problems, held its regular meeting

On Wednesday, October 25th, The regular meeting of the committee to address health problems was held at the hall of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, chaired by the Director of Monitoring and Evaluation, Muhammad Agul Kochi.

The gathering brought together the representatives of the Ministries of Public Health, Higher Education, Kabul University of Medical Sciences, Afghanistan Medical Council, and Afghanistan Food and Drug Authority.

At the outset, the participants in the meeting reviewed the decision of the Salaries and Formations Commission regarding the separation of the duties of the Afghanistan Food and Drug Authority and Public Health and discussed how to implement the guidelines and the new form for incurable patients at the Ministry of Public Health.

Later, dr. Nafiullah Pirzad, Director of Doctors' Affairs Regulation of Afghanistan Medical Council, provided his information about the medical examination rooms of Kabul City and assured the continuation of its supervision in the provinces.

At the end of the meeting, Mohammad Agul Kochi, Director of Monitoring and Supervision of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, said that a joint team should be formed between the Ministry of Public Health and the Afghan Medical Council for the surveillance of hospitals in the provinces.
He also added that the mentioned team should organize a joint plan for the supervision of hospitals in the provinces and present it to the committee of addressing health problems.
