The General Directorate of Municipalities Signs a Memorandum of Corporation (MoC) with OHW(Organization of Human Welfare).

Today, Oct 21, 2023- The General Directorate of Municipalities signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Organization of Human Welfare(OHW).

The meeting in this regard was held at the meeting hall of the said directorate, which commenced with the recitation of the holy Quran and was followed by the speech of the Urban Governance Director, Mawlavi Muhammad Yaqoob Sharafat.

Kicking off the meeting, Mawlavi Muhammad Yaqoob Sharafat, provided information to the participants of the meeting about the said agreement and advised the officials of the aforementioned organization to carry out the aid distribution series in a transparent manner.

Subsequently, Engineer Muhammad Hussain Shahrestani, in charge of the aid distribution program of the OWH, provided information about the activities of the said organization and expressed his gratitude to the Islamic Emirate for their endless cooperation.
According to the agreement signed with the mentioned organization, they will provide cash and food aid worth 76 million AFNs to 33,000 needy families in Helmand and Kandahar provinces for one year.
The meeting concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
