Jabal Saraj Palace opens in front of the public
Yesterday, Oct 15, 2023- The grand historic Jabal Siraj Palace in Parwan Province was opened in front of the public in the presence of the directors of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, provincial officials, tribal leaders, and youths during a ceremony.
The ceremony in this regard was held in the courtyard of the mentioned palace, which commenced with the recitation of the holy Quran, and was followed by the speeches of participants of the ceremony.
At the ceremony, the Financial Director of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, Dr. Salem ur Rahman Hasham, said in his speech that the country has taken a sigh of relief after 20 years of war and the Islamic Emirate is trying to work for the well-being and prosperity of the nation. So, for this purpose, the said palace has been opened for tourism and entertainment.
Furthermore, the director of Administrative Reforms and Civil Services Administration of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, Mawlavi Abdul Hanan Arifullah, said that all officials of the Islamic Emirate have this thought and feeling to stand this country on its feet and serve its suffering people well and provide them with facilities.
Correspondingly, the director of Cultural and Social Affairs of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, Mawlavi Muhammad Ishaq Akhundzada, in his brief speech called Afghans to unite and support the Islamic Emirate in the light of Sharia, and encouraged officials to serve their country and its people well.
Also, the said ceremony was attended by the deputy governor of Parwan, the chief of the police forces of Parwan, and the tribal elder of the said province, where they all addressed the participants.
The grand historic palace of Jabal Siraj is located in the Jabal Siraj district of Parwan Province, built in 1907 by Amir Habibullah Khan.
This palace is built on 36 acres of land on two floors uniquely and beautifully which has about 30 large and small rooms. Moreover, the towers and walls of the palace are constructed of clay, which refreshes the memory of old historical buildings, and it also has 7 entrance and exit doors.
It should be said that the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs has in plan to open the historical and entertainment places of this administration, for instance, Darul Aman Palace, the Islamic Culture Center of Ghazni, royal properties in Nangarhar, and many more places in front of domestic and foreign tourists.
The ceremony concluded with the presenting of gifts to the schools' nasheed team and cutting off the ribbon.
