Today, August 2, 2023, Mawlavi Muhammad Ishaq Akhundzada, head of the cultural and social directorate of AOP IEA met with the representatives of the country's media and listened to their problems and requests.

In the meeting, Mawlavi Ishaq Akhundzada stated to the representatives of the media that Islamic Emirate supports media and according to him media should organize their publications in accordance with the islamic values.

Later, the representatives of the country's media expressed their satisfaction with the cooperation of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and requested for more support in the financial sector, cooperation of international organizations and access to information.

Hon. Mawlavi Muhammad Ishaq Akhundzada while praising the services of media said that teamwork is needed in eliminating all the problems of media. Hon. Ishaq added that it is necessary for media outlets to organize their programs in accordance with Shari'a and should pay attention to the islamic programs.

At the end, Hon. Mawlavi Muhammad Ishaq Akhundzada, promised the media representatives that he will work with the leadership of the Islamic Emirate and the Ministry of Information and Culture to resolve the demands and suggestions of the media.

This meeting that commenced with the recitation of the passages of Holy Quran concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
