Amendments to be made in Public Private Partnership (PPP) law.

Based on the decree of Esteemed Amir-ul-Mu'minin, Sheikh Hibatullah Akhunzada, a coordination meeting for reforms and adjustments in the law of Public Private Partnership (PPP) was held under the leadership of the directorate of investment facilitation of AOP IEA, in which the representatives of Ministries of Finance, Public Health, Mines and Petroleum, Industry & Commerce and Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) were also present.

At the start of the meeting, Sharifullah Baha, deputy director investment facilitation directorate, shed a light on the decree of Esteemed, Amir-ul-Mu'minin about the amendment to some articles of Public Private Partnership law and then added that today we gather here for the purpose of making the amendments in Public Private Partnership law and then share our perspectives with other government agencies.

Later, Mufti Abdul Samad Haqqani, the head of the Legal Board of the Ministry of Finance, said about the Public Private Partnership law that such reforms and amendments are necessary in law so that it can help government agencies and people.

At the same time, Mawlavi Abdul Basir Mansour, the representative of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum said, while making amendments and adjustments in the aforementioned law, in addition to the technical aspects, Shari'a and Islamic dimensions should also be taken into account.

Moreover, in the meeting, the representatives of the Ministries of Health, Industry & Commerce and the DABS also shared their views regarding the issue. It was decided in the meeting that the relevant ministries and agencies, after comprehensive analysis and review of the aforementioned law, will present their views and ideas in written form to the relevant committee and after that it will be sent to the Ministry of Justice for final approval.
