Additional efforts needed in connection with revenue collection, says General Director of AOP IEA
Today, on the 19th of July, Sheikh-Ul-Hadith, Mawlavi Noor-Ul-Haq Anwar, General Director of AOP IEA emphasized on the transparent collection of revenues for the treasury of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in a meeting held between the representatives of the Ministry of Finance and Afghanistan Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (ATRA).
The meeting commenced with the recitation of the passages of the Holy Quran. After that, comprehensive discussions were made between all parties of the meeting regarding the transparent collection of revenue.
Moreover, in the meeting it was decided to form a committee to work on the collection of mobile card revenues in a basic manner and to transfer it transparently into the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan treasury.
In the meeting, the Acting Minister of Finance who was present there said that we are trying to collect the revenue in a more transparent and basic manner.
Correspondingly, the representatives of the ATRA requested for the cooperation of AOP IEA in collection of revenue from mobile cards.
It is worth mentioning that the revenue collection of ATRA in the last year from mobile cards has increased by 1.2 billion AFNs compared to the year before.
