Practical steps are being taken to solve the problems of Afghan traders; says director of NPD
The Director of National Procurement Directorate of AOP IEA, Qari Abdul Wali Siddiqui, met with Mohammad Younas Momand, deputy of the chamber of commerce and investment and had comprehensive discussions about business-related issues.This meeting was held today in the office of Qari Abdul Wali Siddiqui, where comprehensive discussions were made on the business-related issues.In the meeting, Mohammad Younas Momand shared all the existing problems of Afghan traders with Qari Abdul Wali Siddiqui and has requested Islamic Emirate to encourage foreign aid organizations to purchase food items that are distributed to poor families from Afghan traders.
Mr. Momand added that domestic traders are capable of providing food items to foreign institutions in Afghanistan at the same prices which they are buying from other countries.
In response, the director of national procurement, pledged to address the challenges they are facing and added that the Islamic Emirate is committed to solving the problems of traders just like solving the problems of other citizens and is taking practical steps in this regard.
In the meeting, coordination and cooperation regarding the development of business within the country and the establishment of other such meetings were emphasized and this meeting was concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
