Due to the good management, Finance Ministry has performed better services than expected, says Mawlavi Saifuddin Taib
Mawlavi Saifuddin Taib, Deputy Director of the Monitoring & Policy of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs of IEA, participated in the introduction ceremony of the newly appointed Minister and Deputy Ministers of Finance Ministry.This ceremony which took place this Saturday, 3rd of June, 2023 at the conference hall of the Finance Ministry, was attended by the deputy director of the Monitoring & Policy of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, former Minister of Finance, Mullah Hedayatullah Badri, Acting Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, and livestock, Mawlavi Attaulah Omari and number of other officials.
In the meeting, Deputy Director of the Monitoring & Policy of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs praised the activities of the former Minister of Finance, Mawlavi Hedayatullah Badri, and added that he strengthened the national treasury through good management and performance in difficult times.
Moreover, in the meeting, Mawlavi Hedayatullah Badri, in his speech called the change in government as a principle and also provided information about his activities and services provided during his mission.
In the meeting, the newly appointed Finance Minister, Mullah Mohammad Nasir Akhund, also praised the activities and services of the former Minister of Finance, Mawlavi Hedayatullah Badri, in the financial sector and added that we will move forward following his experience and advice.
In addition, Mullah Mohammad Nasir Akhund, Acting Finance Minister, also asked for the support of all Ministry of Finance personnel for betterment of the affairs.
It is worth mentioning, that Mullah Mohammed Nasir Akhund previously served as the deputy minister of revenue and customs of Finance Ministry, appointed as the Acting Minister of Finance and Mullah Abdul Qahir Idris, who previously served as the deputy Minister of Water and Energy, appointed as deputy Minister of Finance for Customs and Revenue and as well as Haji Abdul Qadir Ahmad, former second deputy of Da Afghanistan Bank, appointed as deputy Minister of Finance for financial affairs by the decree of the Supreme leader of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Esteemed Amir-ul-Mu'minin Momineen, Shiekh Hibatullah Akhundzada.
