Ceremony Marking Fifth Anniversary of Islamic Emirate Victory Held at General Directorate of Administrative Affairs
On August 13, 2026, a grand ceremony marking the fifth anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was held with the participation of Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, Director General of Administrative Affairs, deputy ministers of several ministries, deputies of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, as well as directors and employees of the General Directorate of Administrative.
Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, Director General of Administrative Affairs, stated during the ceremony that five years ago, with the support of Almighty Allah and the sacrifices and selflessness of the Afghan nation, the occupiers and their allies were defeated, the country was liberated, and an Islamic system was established in the country. He said this was not merely a military victory; rather, it was the clear fruit of a nation's long struggle, sacrifices and divine support.
The Director General of Administrative Affairs further stated that commemorating the victory over the American occupation and the country's liberation day should be conducted within the framework of Islamic principles. He said it should be commemorated in a manner that benefits both the nation and the system. The greatest expression of freedom is to give thanks to Almighty Allah, appreciate the independence of one's country, and properly fulfill one's responsibility to safeguard its future.
Meanwhile, the speakers at the ceremony, referring to the historical significance of Victory Day, considered preserving the achievements of the Islamic system, safeguarding national unity and sincerely serving the people to be a shared responsibility of all. They emphasized that this victory was the result of the sacrifices, struggles and selflessness of the Afghan nation.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, a short documentary on the major achievements of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs over the past five years, prepared by the Media Directorate of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, was screened. A copy of the General Directorate's achievements book was also presented to the participants.
The ceremony, which began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
