DIRECTOR GENERAL OF ADMINISTRATIVE AFFAIRS: SOME ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSES FRUSTRATE PEOPLE

On August 5, 2026, the Director General of Administrative Affairs, Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, said during the closing ceremony of a five-day seminar held at the Civil Service Institute of the Administrative Reform and Civil Service Directorate for the provincial managers of the institution that whoever brings ease to a Muslim, Allah Almighty will grant him ease in this world and the Hereafter.

The seminar, organized by the Civil Service Institute of the Administrative Reform and Civil Service Directorate for the provincial managers, featured remarks by the Director General of Administrative Affairs, who explained that, as reflected in its name, the Administrative Reform and Civil Service Directorate is responsible for raising awareness of administrative affairs across the government, simplifying administrative processes, enhancing capacity in various professional and technical fields, and promoting transparency in recruitment.

Addressing the seminar participants, Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar emphasized that each of them has a responsibility at the provincial level to address matters that promote order, efficiency, and ease in administrative affairs.

He further noted that the Process Simplification Directorate is not an ordinary directorate, as it deals directly with applicants. Some administrative processes are so burdensome that they frustrate people and discourage them from pursuing their objectives. He added that many of these procedures have been inherited from previous administrations, where they created opportunities for corruption and deprived people of their rights.

The ceremony, which began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
