Director General of Administrative Affairs: It Is Media's Responsibility to Deliver Facts to Public in Timely Manner
On July 27, 2026, the Director General of Administrative Affairs, Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, participated in the "Government in the Mirror of Press" program alongside government officials and media representatives at the Government Media and Information Center. During the program, he stated that it is the responsibility of the media to deliver facts to the public in a timely manner.
Referring to the guidance of the Islamic Emirate's Leadership, the Director General noted that highlighting the country's achievements brings joy to the people and is one of the media's important responsibilities. He added that the more these achievements are reflected, the greater the happiness among the people, making it a rewarding act of worship.
He emphasized that it is the responsibility of the media to provide the public with accurate and reliable information in response to baseless criticism and false propaganda. He further stated that facts should be shared only after thorough verification and that the Islamic Emirate has remained committed to the principles of transparency and honesty from its first day to the present.
Referring to the experiences of returning Afghans, he explained that some people face an information gap before returning to the country, but their perceptions change once they become familiar with the realities on the ground. He stressed that speaking the truth is one of the fundamental principles of the Islamic Emirate.
The Director General of Administrative Affairs described the "Government in the Mirror of Press" program as a valuable initiative and praised the effort.
The program, which began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
