Cultural and Social Affairs Director Meets Ulema and Elders of Surpul Province

On July 2, 2025, the Director of Cultural and Social Affairs of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, Mawlavi Mohammad Rabbani Naseeh, met with a number of ulema, tribal elders, and youths from Surpul Province in the conference hall of the General Directorate to discuss their problems.

At the outset, the Deputy Director of Cultural and Social Affairs, Noor Mohammad Haidari, welcomed the participants and stated that the gathering is not ceremonial, and that the issues raised will be addressed in accordance with the available resources.

The tribal elders expressed their appreciation for the arrangement of the meeting and highlighted several key issues, including the lack of paved roads, bridges and culverts, standard hospitals, drinking and agricultural water, cold storages, telecommunication towers, electricity, and the shortage of school buildings and teachers in the districts. They also emphasized the need for the construction of the Sangcharak, Masjid-e-Sabz, and Sultan Ibrahim dams.

The Director of Cultural and Social Affairs stated that the officials of the Islamic Emirate are motivated and committed to development, progress, and facilitating services for the people, and consider it part of their duty. He listened to the concerns and requests of the attendees and assured them that their issues would be shared with the relevant institutions for resolution.

The meeting, which began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
