Addressing People’s Issues: Agreement Signed for 136 Simplified Processes of the Ministry of Education

On April 16, 2025, an agreement for the implementation of simplified administrative processes was signed between the Administrative Reforms and Civil Service Authority of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs and the Ministry of Education during a special ceremony.

The ceremony took place in the conference hall of the Ministry of Education, with the participation of the Deputy Director General for Coordination of Emirate Affairs of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, Mawlavi Saifuddin Taieb; Director General of the Administrative Reforms and Civil Service Authority, Sheikh Mohammad Taoos Tariq; and various other officials from the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs and the Ministry of Education.

Mawlavi Saifuddin Taieb stated during the ceremony that, in order to address people’s issues, the Islamic Emirate is working to simplify administrative processes across all government sectors, provide ease to the people, reduce time wastage and unnecessary expenses—efforts that could help eliminate the gap between the government and citizens.

Mr. Taieb added that countries that have simplified government procedures usually make more progress than others. According to him, it is essential to work in multiple areas to ensure Afghanistan’s development.

During his speech, Mawlavi Mohammad Taoos Tariq stated that, since the re-establishment of the Islamic Emirate, the mentioned authority has simplified 942 complex administrative procedures across 13 ministries. He added that by the end of the current year, complex procedures in 25 ministries and independent agencies will be identified, after which the process of simplification will begin.

It is worth mentioning that, based on an agreement between the Administrative Reforms and Civil Service Authority and the Ministry of Education, 136 civil service-related procedures have been identified and simplified over a period of approximately ten months in various directorates of the Ministry of Education.

The ceremony, which began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, ended with a prayer for goodwill.
